We discuss your personal hair-care history, styling preferences, and lifestyle to determine if Sisterlocks is right for you. Test locks are installed in different patterns and sizes to find the perfect fit for your texture and density.
Bring a good book. Locking takes 10–18 hours depending on size and density. The average client leaves with 400+ locks and a new attitude — plus a starter kit with shampoo, birth certificate of locks, tip sheets and rubber bands.
Follow-up after at least two shampoos (usually within a month) to monitor the integrity of the locks, tighten them up and shape your routine. We'll discuss styling options as your locks settle in.
Schedule retightening at four-to-six-week intervals. As your locks mature, we determine how often retightening is needed.
A deposit of $250 is required for all new installations unless otherwise discussed. We do not accept locks that have not been serviced within 12 weeks.
